What is Tivo?
Tivo revolutionised the way we watch TV by producing one of the first
Digital Hard Disk Video Recorders (No Tapes!).
Despite other manufacturers trying
to copy Tivo's core features, it is still quite unique in that its
compatible with Cable, Satellite and the Terrestrial forms of TV reception.
You simply fit Tivo between your set-top-box and your TV, where you VCR once
stood.
Tivo doesn't just record TV
programs though, many other features exist like Season Pass ,
Wish Lists ,
Intuitive Recording as well as the basic core features which include
Pause
Live TV, Fast FWD,
Rewind, Slow Motion,
Multi-Tasking,
Buffering etc.
Tivo also has a 14 day
Electronic
Program Guide (EPG) allowing you to go on holiday, safe in the mind that all
your programs will be recorded even if a new series starts whilst your away.
